A lot of you, anonymous and non-anonymous, have asked me about “what it takes” to become an architect, a.k.a the whole process of becoming an architect. I can’t really post more than what I already have in this post, but here are some quick (okay, not so quick…)
bullet pointsparagraphs.To…
what can you say about this sir?
Issue between the decision of the Court of Appeals here in the Philippines.
Wow!! This is … really strange. There are parallels between engineering and architecture, but civil engineers do not do the same job as architects.
I find this terrible on the part of the Court of Appeals of the Philippines, just because there are things architects must learn in order to build a beautiful, functioning structure- history, culture, utilities, arts, aesthetics, and design. Everything that The Court says you do not need! Most people need to be trained to look with a designing/architect eye. The people that do this will probably be impaired when in the field.
Also, I wonder if they will be hired as easily as someone who did go through the training.
Followers- what do you think?
if that’s the case, how are we going to call them now??”ARCHINEERS”????;/
